Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environments. Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with designing and deploying security solutions such as NAC, 802.1x, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxies, DLP, DDoS, and Malware inspections solutions
  • Strong project and people management
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience taking a project from requirements gathering through the  design, testing, and deployment phases for a Network Access Control solutions such as Cisco ISE or FroeScout
  •  7+ years of experience in the network security discipline
  • Coordinate delivery of project milestones, ensure projects stay on target, escalating and identifying roadblocks
  • Must be able to identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization
  • A broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g. access control)
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to lead a team, work with peers, and various levels of management

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience architecting complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions
  • Knowledge of networking, network segmentation, network access and software defined networking
  • Experience securing virtual environments including VMware, OpenStack, and Public Cloud
  • Experience with third party network security controls, such as Bluecoat, Fortigate, Nuage, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5 ASM, Cisco, or FireEye
  • Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds
  • Ability to understand the requirements and analyze the technical feasibility and design against the requirements
  • Able to work effectively with remote locations including onsite offshore stakeholder teams
