The Network Operations Manager is responsible for the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware and software and that is used within the organization. Installation, configuration, and support of the organization’s local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). The Network Operations Manager is also responsible for the helpdesk operation and administration.


• Planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure
• Network security as established by the Vice President of Information Technology
• Administration and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure
• Administration and maintenance of the company’s WAN/LAN

Help Desk Administration: 

• Oversee all help desk activities
• Respond to escalated help desk issues
• Interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Network Operations
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
• Proven leadership/management experience
• Exceptional judgment and strategic planning/thinking skills/interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle high pressure situations
• Ability to design, analyze, measure, and improve IT support processes, and continuously monitor for effectiveness
