- Track record of overachieving sales results as a SE or CE at previous companies with the ability to hit the ground running
- Thought leader in the security industry who can demonstrate the applicability of technology to customer businesses need
- It is important to have a consultative sales approach to identify and help fulfill customer specific adaptations
Enterprise Experience:
- Successful track record of relevant technical oriented solution selling to Global 2000 enterprise customers; security domain experience is a significant advantage
Service Provider Experience:
- Knowledge of Service Provider network design, vendor equipment, and services infrastructure a must
- Experience working with or a minimum a strong familiarity with Cisco/Juniper routers, switches/load balancers, DPI, NetFlow, syslog, DNS, VOIP, DHCP/Active Directory, Mobile (GGSN/PDSN), VMWare/cloud technologies, DDoS, and evolving Service Provider technologies is important
- Experience with various OS systems (Linux, Unix, Windows), various server platforms, and knowledge of grid/distributed computing a huge plus
Planning and Time Management:
- The candidate will be responsible for supporting many customers in a variety of roles similar to SE, Solutions Architect, CE, Support, and occasional Development
