Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately inputting, reviewing, researching and editing claims data and updating, transferring or rejecting all claims that fail the legacy business edits
- Transcribe, enter and validate data from standard source documents
- Access and navigate claims systems
- Organize individual workload to ensure all new work is processed on a first in/first out basis
- Maintain department standards for production and quality
- Navigate within multiple applications and programs with minimal to no supervision
- Assist with special projects when necessary
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED Required
- Knowledge of claims processing
- Ability to show initiative, accept responsibility, and adapt well to change
- Ability to be self-sufficient in effective allocation of time resources
