Main Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Information Management (EIM)
- Ad-hoc SQL Development
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis as needed
- Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) and Data Integration
- Participate in solutioning, design and development as needed
- Including ad-hoc requests
- Translate source-to-target specifications in to ETL designs and modify as needed
- Collaborate with data modelers to ensure data models are feasible from an ETL perspective
- Manage data integration processes (e.g. feeds to 3rd parties)
- Build process schedules and orchestration
- Environment administration
- Ongoing maintenance
- Management of users, roles, permissions, etc.
- Performance tuning
- Monitoring & defect resolution
- T-SQL (a.k.a “SQL-TL”), SSIS, Informatica
- Data Architecture
- Data modeling
- Prepare logical and physical data models
- Participate in designs and reviews
- Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)
- Design and facilitate archiving strategy and approach
- Environment administration
- Security
- Performance Tuning
- Ongoing maintenance
- Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Participate in solutioning, design and development as needed
- Semantic layer
- Create business view which will facilitate self-service
- Dashboards & Reports
- Train power users to effectively leverage platform
