Description:
- Write quality, maintainable, object-oriented modern JavaScript
- Heavy use of Tag Management Systems, Adobe DTM or Adobe Launch
- Develop cross-browser/cross-platform application tracking solutions
- Assist in identifying enhancements and evolution of existing data layer for current tag management systems to expose user-intent events and actions on webpages (JSON)
- Work with internal clients to understand and design analytics solutions in Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, mobile apps
- Work with development teams to integrate analytics tracking requirements into production cycles
- Utilize version control systems (GIT), code peer review systems (Gerrit) with multi-member teams
- Leverage package tools including Gulp, Phantom.js and Selenium for automation, distribution and validation
- Develop standards-based projects to solve customer and product needs
- Anticipate and solve issues before they negatively impact websites or the integrity of analytics data
- Work independently to manage projects and timelines to ensure on-time delivery and bug-free deployments
- Assist business units in the development of and reporting on KPIs and metrics
- Implement Media Tags and Analytics Tags via Tag Management Systems
Requirements:
- Affinity for analytics, automation and data analysis
- Deep understanding of data dimensioning and metrics, proper use of tracking variables and how they are implemented for deep dive analysis and automated reporting
- Strong application of HTML5, CSS3, Modern JavaScript, jQuery, or angular.js
- Experience in cross browser environments
- W3C Compliant DOM manipulation
- Understanding of web protocols and security standards
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as browser network tabs, Chrome Debugging tools, Firebug, HTTPFox, and Fiddler, Charles Proxy
