Healthcare Recruiting
At 4 Corner Resources, our healthcare clients expect one candidate for one opening. By the time you meet them, the search is finished.
The standard we hold every candidate to is the same regardless of role. We evaluate qualifications, industry experience, and organizational fit against the specific demands of your environment before a name ever reaches your desk. When we send you a candidate, we’re already certain they belong there.
Your Recruiting Challenges, Solved
Healthcare hiring is one of the most complex recruiting environments in any industry, and that intricacy goes beyond clinical roles. Non-clinical positions require candidates who understand the regulatory framework, the reimbursement environment, and the operational pressures of working within a healthcare organization. 96% of non-clinical healthcare managers say finding qualified talent is one of the most challenging things they do, and 71% report active skills gaps within their department right now.
The costs of a vacant position
The financial stakes compound the urgency. A vacant non-clinical healthcare role costs more than $6,000 a month in lost productivity and operational disruption. A gap in revenue cycle support slows reimbursement and strains cash flow. An open seat in administration or operations creates pressure that ripples across the organization every week it goes unfilled. The longer a search takes, the more expensive the vacancy becomes. Healthcare searches nationally average 58 days for clinical roles, while non-clinical searches face longer timelines due to skills gaps and candidate scarcity.
What the outcome looks like with 4CR
What most healthcare hiring managers notice first is how much time they get back. Fewer interviews that lead nowhere, less back-and-forth on candidates who fall short under scrutiny, and a search that closes on a timeline that actually matches the urgency of a vacant role. The candidate who comes through is already the right one. Most clients come back for their next search because of it.

Ultimately, It’s About Results
1.85 to 1
Submit to Hire Ratio
A 1.85 submit to hire ratio means that when 4CR presents a healthcare candidate, that candidate gets hired more often than not. The filtering, the qualification review, and the fit assessment are complete before you see anyone, which is why the first name we send rarely needs to be followed by a second.
1.46 to 1
Interview to Hire Ratio
A 1.46 interview-to-hire ratio means your team spends interview time on candidates who have already cleared a rigorous screen. The evaluation happened on our end first.
93%
Client Retention Rate
Nearly every healthcare organization that hires through 4CR comes back for the next search. The hire worked, the candidate delivered, and there was no reason to look elsewhere.
4.5 Days
Average Time to Fill
Clinical healthcare roles average 58 days to fill nationally, and non-clinical searches carry their own extended timelines. 4CR clients see qualified healthcare candidates fast because our network is active and pre-screened before your role is posted.

Why Partner With 4CR

Recruiters who know the healthcare industry
Our healthcare recruiters stay current on what the market requires right now, which skills are in the highest demand, where compensation is moving, and what experienced healthcare organizations are prioritizing when bringing someone new on board. That market knowledge shapes every search we run and every candidate we evaluate against your role.

Access to the right candidates, faster than the market
The most experienced healthcare professionals are rarely on job boards. They’re employed, performing well, and only open to a conversation if the right opportunity finds them directly. Our recruiters have spent years building those relationships, and we maintain an active, pre-screened network across every healthcare discipline, so we’re never starting your search from zero. A vacant healthcare role is costly, which is why our clients see qualified candidates in days while most healthcare searches stretch for weeks.

One person is responsible from start to finish
You will have a dedicated team member at 4 Corner Resources who will own your search from the intake call through the start date. They know your organization, environment, and standards. They are reachable when you need them and proactive when you don’t. Your search doesn’t get handed off or deprioritized.

A track record that holds up
Staffing firms are easy to find and hard to evaluate until you have actually worked with one. We have been in this market for 20 years and placed over 16,750 professionals. Forbes, Business Insider, and Inc. 5000 have each recognized us among the best in the industry. But the credential that matters most is simpler: nearly every client who works with us comes back.

Our Healthcare Staffing Solutions
Direct hire
Healthcare organizations operate in a regulatory environment where the wrong hire creates compliance exposure, operational disruption, and risk that outlasts the candidate’s tenure. Direct hire is how you get it right the first time. We own the search from sourcing through offer, evaluating every candidate against the specific demands of your organization before you take a single interview.
Executive search
Senior healthcare leaders shape how an entire organization operates. The person capable of doing that well is almost certainly not browsing job boards. Executive search is how you reach them. We identify senior non-clinical and clinical leaders through direct outreach and confidential networking, approaching candidates on your behalf and presenting only those who match both the functional requirements and the leadership profile your organization needs at this stage of its growth.
Contract staffing
Healthcare organizations face staffing gaps that cannot wait for a permanent search to resolve. Contract staffing puts a vetted healthcare professional in your environment on a defined timeline, with 4 Corner handling pay, benefits, and compliance so your team stays focused on care and operations.
Contract-to-hire
Healthcare is an environment where fit matters in ways that are difficult to fully assess in an interview. Contract-to-hire gives you a qualified professional in the role on 4CR’s payroll while you evaluate performance under real conditions. When the fit is confirmed, the transition to permanent is simple.

How Our Healthcare Recruiting Process Works
Placing the right healthcare professional requires understanding your organization before evaluating a single candidate. The steps below walk through how.

Understand your organization and your role
We begin with a dedicated intake conversation that covers the job description and everything around it: how your organization operates, what the role has historically demanded, and what a successful hire looks like six months in. The more precisely we understand the problem you’re trying to solve, the more accurately we can evaluate who is capable of solving it.
What you can expect: A thorough discovery conversation that covers your environment, your team, and the markers that define success in the role.

Define the candidate profile
Everything from the intake conversation gets translated into a detailed candidate profile that drives the search from that point forward. Every candidate gets measured against that standard throughout the process, which keeps us from presenting someone who is close when the right person is still out there.
What you can expect: A clearly defined search target that accounts for the technical, regulatory, and cultural requirements of the role before sourcing begins.

Source from our healthcare network
We activate our pre-existing network of healthcare professionals before going anywhere else. The most experienced candidates in this space are rarely actively searching. They’re reachable through relationships built over years of placements and direct conversations within the healthcare community. We reach out to those candidates personally, on your behalf, before supplementing with broader sourcing.
What you can expect: Access to experienced healthcare professionals who would consider the right opportunity but would never reach you through a job posting alone.

Screen every candidate against your requirements
Every candidate who advances gets a structured screening with our recruiting team. We go deep on the experience that actually matters for your role, whether that’s revenue cycle knowledge, compliance exposure, clinical competency, or operational depth in a health system environment. No one is presented until we’re satisfied they hold up under that level of scrutiny.
What you can expect: Candidates who have been evaluated against the specific demands of your organization, down to the regulatory exposure and operational depth the role requires.

Conduct manager-level reference checks
Before any candidate is presented, we speak directly with the people who previously managed them. We ask pointed questions about performance under the specific pressures of a healthcare environment and whether their former employer would bring them back. You walk into every interview with that information already in hand.
What you can expect: First-hand, verified insight into every candidate’s professional track record before your organization commits time to an interview.

Present one candidate with a written assessment
We present one candidate at a time, accompanied by a written summary of our evaluation and a clear point of view on why we believe they’re the right fit. We coordinate all interview logistics so nothing slows down the search.
What you can expect: A complete picture of the candidate before you speak with them, including their experience, references, and our written assessment of fit.

Manage the offer through to the start date
Once you’ve made your decision, we work alongside your team through the offer and acceptance. We stay engaged through the start date because a signed offer and a smooth first day are both part of what we consider a successful placement, and healthcare organizations can’t afford gaps at either end.
What you can expect: End-to-end support from the offer through the start date, so your team can focus on preparing for a new hire.

Follow up after the placement
We check in with you and your new hire at regular intervals after the start date. A successful hire is one where the candidate is still performing months later, and that’s the standard we hold ourselves to long after the search is closed.
What you can expect: A recruiting partner who stays engaged after the hire is made, because our definition of a completed search doesn’t end when the invoice goes out.

FAQs
Yes. The majority of our healthcare placements are non-clinical, such as revenue cycle, administration, finance, operations, and HR, but we also place clinical staff. The evaluation process is rigorous on both sides. What changes is the framework we evaluate against. The bar stays the same on both sides.
The most experienced non-clinical healthcare professionals are rarely on job boards. We reach them through direct outreach and relationships our recruiters have built over years of placements in the healthcare space. When a role requires a specific skillset and experience, we work our network first and supplement with targeted sourcing where it adds value. If a particular profile is scarce in your market, we’ll tell you that upfront, along with what a realistic timeline looks like.
Most searches are active within 24 hours of the intake call. Because we maintain an ongoing network of pre-screened healthcare professionals, we don’t have to build a candidate pipeline from scratch when your role comes in. For many positions, qualified candidates are already in our network before the search officially begins.
Contract staffing is the right solution. Whether a key revenue cycle team member has gone on leave, a patient access team is understaffed heading into open enrollment, or a clinical coverage gap has opened unexpectedly, we can put a vetted healthcare professional in your environment fast. Most contract placements are moving within 48 hours of the kickoff call.
Setting-specific experience is a standard part of how we build every healthcare search. We build the candidate profile around your specific environment and recruit against it. If that combination of experience is rare in your market, we’ll say so upfront. An honest read on the candidate pool is more useful than a promise that falls apart later.
Our healthcare recruiters are trained to assess the functional expertise required for non-clinical roles. We ask candidates to speak specifically to the work they’ve done, the projects they led, and the outcomes they produced. We verify what they tell us through manager-level reference checks before anyone is presented. For senior or highly specialized roles, we can also work alongside your internal team to build a screening framework tailored to your environment.
For direct hire, 4CR charges a percentage of the candidate’s first-year base salary. We offer two structures: traditional, at 25%, paid upfront with a 30-day replacement guarantee, or pay-as-you-go, at 20%, billed in three installments over 90 days. Contract and contract-to-hire engagements are billed at an all-inclusive hourly rate that covers the contractor’s pay, taxes, benefits, workers’ compensation, and our recruiting fee. There are no hidden costs and no volume commitments required.
Our traditional direct hire fee includes a 30-day replacement guarantee. If the placed candidate leaves or is released for performance reasons within the first 30 days, we run a replacement search at no additional charge. The pay-as-you-go structure works differently: if the candidate leaves, you stop paying the remaining installments and pay only for what you kept. Contract placements can be ended at any time and are billed only for hours worked.
There is no minimum. Many of our strongest healthcare client relationships began with a single search. Bring us one role, and we will earn the next one.
