Responsibilities:
- Through consultation and guidance to support a positive ER environment that meets the company’s goals and objectives
- Consult with management on the interpretation of company policies, procedures, and practices; and maintain and enhance HR programs through effective planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Maintain current knowledge following functional areas: employee relations, policy employment, affirmative action, benefits, compensation, training and development, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Conduct research and other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and college education yielding the appropriate human resources knowledge and skills required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-10 years of HR Generalist experience in a various disciplines
- Healthcare experience desirable
- Must have demonstrated experience with a broad range of employee relations issues, investigations, etc.
- Must have demonstrated experience with policy administration and interpretation
- HRIS experience required (ADP Workforce Now experience preferred)
- Understand and maintain confidential nature of human resources
- Strictly adhere to established company confidentiality policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Able to multi-task and prioritize projects with variable and sometimes conflicting deadlines; superior attention to detail and demonstrated ability to problem-solve
- Demonstrated initiative and judgment in performance of job responsibilities, while maintaining professionalism, flexibility and dependability
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), time management and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service, including building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
