Pete is a seventh-generation Floridian. He was born in Gainesville and spent his childhood there until his family moved to Clearwater, where he attended high school. He continued his education at Florida State University, graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Political Science and Communications.
His career in technical recruiting began immediately after, and he went on to serve in leadership roles over the next decade for two Fortune 500 companies. Pete founded 4 Corner in 2005 to pursue his dream of doing business in a flexible, agile, and personal way while building a company that prioritizes people over processes.
In the years since, 4 Corner, Resources, the top-rated staffing company in Central Florida, has won numerous awards; most recently Forbes’ Best Recruiting Firms in America, The Seminole 100, and The Golden 100.
In 2022, Pete and his team launched zengig.com to offer comprehensive advice, tools, and resources for students and young professionals. He’s the host of two podcasts, Hire Calling and Finding Career Zen, and he’s blazing new trails in recruitment marketing.
On a personal note, Pete and his college-sweetheart wife Jennifer live in Gotha, FL; raising their four children, Kate, Cole, Xander, and Mitchell. When he isn’t busy with 4 Corner, zengig, or the podcasts, you can probably find Pete attending or coaching one of the boys’ games or sharing his sales, marketing, recruiting, and AI thought leadership as a highly sought-after speaker.
