  • Provide support and project coordination for the quality improvement functional area

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the quality improvement functional area
  • Complete special projects or assignments as needed to meet initiatives and or objectives of department
  • Assist and coordinate QI projects as needed
  • Maintain all department files in an organized accurate manner
  • Assist with preparations for meetings by typing agendas attachments and minutes
  • Maintain supply levels equipment maintenance communications and records
  • Maintain and secure files of QI activities
  • Direct communication to the appropriate staff
  • Additional duties as needed


  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in medical office HMO or hospital environment performing administrative duties with a clinical focus
  • Experience with medical terminology


  • Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to arrange their own work day

Technology Proficiency Required:

Level of Supervision:

  • Under general supervision, proceeds alone on regular duties and refers questionable cases to supervisor
