Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support for the quality improvement functional area
- Complete special projects or assignments as needed to meet initiatives and or objectives of department
- Assist and coordinate QI projects as needed
- Maintain all department files in an organized accurate manner
- Assist with preparations for meetings by typing agendas attachments and minutes
- Maintain supply levels equipment maintenance communications and records
- Maintain and secure files of QI activities
- Direct communication to the appropriate staff
- Additional duties as needed
Education:
- A High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in medical office HMO or hospital environment performing administrative duties with a clinical focus
- Experience with medical terminology
Skills:
- Demonstrated written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to arrange their own work day
