The Product Manager conceives, designs, builds and manages every one of the products and services we offer; serve as the expert and resource for lender trade line reporting product information including the development and maintenance of product reports, documentation and presentations. As the Product Manager, you will increase the profitability of existing products and develop new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.


  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Develop innovative product strategies, business plan, product roadmaps and provide requirements for market problems that are validated as urgent, pervasive and can be monetized
  • Develop and maintain relevant subject matter expertise, to include identification of market opportunities, detailed functionality, best practice and competitive positioning
  • Define, document and articulate business and product requirements for new products and major enhancements and work closely with the technology and operations teams to determine detailed plans for product implementation, quality assurance and ongoing operations
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Ensure that capabilities, products or sites deliver an optimal user experience, conform to the product requirements, are released on time, meet product quality standards and have passed client or business acceptance
  • Act as a key product expert, evangelist and advocate and facilitates communication across all teams
  • Assist in product promotion by contributing to the development and implementation of collateral such as presentations, product briefs, newsletters, whitepapers, press releases, and corporate intranet materials
  • Ensure regulatory demands are understood and translated into the product line
  • Understand end-to-end picture of product financials; support central generation of Data/KPIs and assist with the validation of thresholds/targets
  • Act as a primary contact to groups outside of the respective Product team ensuring alignment of priorities/strategies. This also includes work in collaboration with Compliance and Legal departments.

Required Skills: 

  • 2 to 5 years of success in prior product development role
  • Experience gathering and refining product solution requirements is required
  • Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus among design team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
  • Strong planning skills with demonstrated ability to drive initiatives with little supervision while communicating status to key stakeholders
  • Experience working with consumer-focused financial products and services
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels with a demonstrated ability to succinctly report to management key performance indicators and product status
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and possessing a high level of initiative with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a face-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant product management development experience in an enterprise software firm, Internet marketing firm, financial services firm or online commerce firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience in credit bureau environment preferred
