Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain financial controllership of portfolio, multiple WBS and cost center as well as charge types
  • Maintain portfolio and team level forecasts, actuals and variances
  • Understand reconciliation and journal entry processes and manage them
  •  Meet with Finance team bi weekly to compare Clarity VS SAP forecast VS actuals to confirm expenses to external WBS, OpEx and Other Expenses are flowing as forecasted to their respective cost centers and businesses
  • Produce weekly finance reports for review, highlighting variances with total expected spend for month end, quarter end and year end
  • Forecast resource hours and manage timesheet process
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Responsible for resource forecast VS Actual project level time allocations
  • Manage a portfolio of multiple projects and leads in various stages of lifecycle
  • Evaluation and management of scope changes – determining the impact to target delivery dates and assessing options for phased delivery
  • Report on project status clearly, consistently and reliably to executive management and team members
  • Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams
  • Oversee and manage Scrum processes and ceremonies
  • Ownership of cross-team meetings – scheduling, setting agendas, and meeting preparation
  • Manage and update Jira, Confluence and other wiki/tools
  • Define, manage and improve project management processes and workflows to improve team efficiency and remove bottlenecks
  • Support team members and empowers them so they can complete their activities in timely manner and with quality
  • Ensure the team has everything they need to be successful in the feature development
  • Help define process improvements and feedback for multi-part projects that need creative project management strategies required for timely execution
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CSM certification or MBA preferred
  • Experience with Clarity, Jira, Confluence, SAP etc.
  • Experience with cost center, team or portfolio level accounting and finance
  • Technical program management
  • A combination of technical and financial background is preferred
Basic Qualifications:
  • Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of technical Agile project management experience supporting large scale enterprises
  • Has an advanced knowledge of program management methodologies; core knowledge of Lean Best Practices, Agile, and SDLC required
  • Ability to work well with minimum supervision
