Senior Accountant

Contract Las Vegas, NV · Remote $46–$50/hour

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Senior Accountant for a leading vacation ownership and resort management company. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven accountant to take ownership of full-cycle general ledger and financial reporting work while playing a direct role in the financial health of a resort property.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries to build and maintain an accurate general ledger
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts according to department policy
  • Facilitate wire transfers related to club receivables and payables
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate related-party receivables and payables
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and the reporting package
  • Support coordination and preparation for financial audits
  • Help build budget reports and prepare annual budgets
  • Monitor banking activity to ensure funds are available for wires and checks
  • Support annual departmental goals
  • Help develop process flows, identify constraints, and implement process improvements
  • May support planning and oversight of department or staff events
  • May help mentor and develop accountants at lower levels

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, both independently and on a team
  • Self-starter who is organized, performs well under pressure, and communicates effectively
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
  • Experience with EPM software

Senior Accountant Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Fusion experience highly preferred. 
  • Experience in the timeshare industry

Senior Accountant Details:

  • Location: Fully remote but candidates must be in Pacific Time (PST/PDT) business hours.
  • 6-month contract with possibility of extension depending on project need. 
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $46-50/hr.
