Cloud Administrator
4 Corner Resources is hiring a Cloud Administrator for a Central Florida organization managing a hybrid IT environment across on-premise and cloud platforms. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with conversion expected in approximately 6-12 months. This is an excellent opportunity for infrastructure professionals looking to deepen their Azure and hybrid systems expertise while taking on senior-level responsibilities across cloud, storage, and automation.
Cloud Administrator Responsibilities:
- Administer Microsoft Azure environments, leading design, deployment, and resource planning
- Perform cloud cost analysis to support infrastructure planning and quoting
- Manage Windows Server, Hyper-V virtualization, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Administer MDM platforms (Intune, Mosyle, Hexnode) and perform server patching and upgrades
- Maintain storage systems (Dell EMC Unity, Pure Storage) and backup systems (Rubrik)
- Support automation platforms (JAMS, PowerShell) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Application Insights)
- Coordinate with security and network teams on infrastructure requirements and projects
- Provide after-hours support on rotation along with senior-level troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation and support migrations across web, application, and database servers
Cloud Administrator Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Proficiency with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with NAS/SAN systems (Dell EMC Unity, Pure Storage)
- Experience with Rubrik, MDM platforms, and PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of JAMS or similar automation tools
- Experience with Datadog and Azure Application Insights
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications preferred
Cloud Administrator Details:
- Location: Orlando, FL
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-Call: 3-week on-call rotation
- Duration: Contract-to-hire, with conversion expected in approximately 6-12 months
