Pete is a seventh-generation Floridian. He was born in Gainesville and spent his childhood there until his family moved to Clearwater, where he attended high school. He continued his education at Florida State University, graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Political Science and Communications.
His career in technical recruiting began immediately after, and he went on to serve in leadership roles for two Fortune 500 companies over the next decade. Pete founded 4 Corner in 2005 to pursue his dream of doing business in a flexible, agile, and personal way while building a company that prioritizes people over processes.
Since 2016, 4CR has been Central Florida’s highest-rated staffing firm and has consistently been recognized as a top U.S. firm, with recent inclusions in Forbes’ Best Recruiting Firms in America, America’s Best Staffing Firms, and Business Insider’s America’s Top Recruiting Firms.
Pete recently created the definitive job search guide for young professionals, Get Hired In 30 Days. He hosts the Hire Calling podcast, the Cornering The Job Market YouTube channel, and is blazing new trails in recruitment marketing with the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
On a personal note, Pete and his college sweetheart, Jennifer, live in Gotha, FL, raising their four children: Kate, Cole, Xander, and Mitchell. When he isn’t busy with 4 Corner or recording daily job-market updates (usually with his dogs in the background), you can probably find Pete traveling with his family or on stage sharing his knowledge of staffing, recruiting, and AI’s impact on jobs and careers.
