Contract Orlando, FL · Onsite $66.67/hour

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Technical Project Manager in Orlando, FL. This is a 2-year contract opportunity with potential to convert to a permanent role for a strong performer. It is a chance to join a growing digital team heading into a busy stretch, leading web and mobile app projects with real ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and risk. This role is onsite so you must live within a commutable distance of downtown Orlando, FL.

Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple digital projects at once, including web enhancements and app improvements, in partnership with the digital development team
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from planning through delivery
  • Build and run communication plans that keep team members, customers, and sponsors informed on status
  • Develop project schedules, identify the critical path, and manage risks, issues, and changes using established PMO processes
  • Run projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches based on what each project needs
  • Forecast, track, and report on project financials, schedule performance, and resource utilization, including cost-to-completion projections
  • Prepare funding documentation and partner with Strategic Sourcing and Contracts on RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs
  • Lead project reviews and retrospectives, and provide input for status reports and executive reviews
  • Lead matrixed project teams of 5 to 25 people on projects with budgets up to $1 million
  • Contribute to PMO process improvement and help onboard new project managers

Technical Project Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager on technology or digital projects
  • Background in information technology, with an understanding of applications, databases, and connectivity
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile principles, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and risk
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work with senior leadership
  • Must be based in the Orlando area

Technical Project Manager Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mobile app project experience
  • Hospitality industry experience, especially in Orlando
  • Timeshare industry experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Clarity or another portfolio management tool

Technical Project Manager Pay Rate:

  • $66 hrly
