Unified Communications (UC) Engineer
4 Corner Resources is looking for a hands-on UC professional to support and deliver on a complex telephony environment. You'll own day-to-day operations and active project work from day one, working independently in a fast-paced setting.
What You'll Do
- Lead telephony project implementations end-to-end, planning, configuration, installation, and go-live
- Travel to client sites to install and configure phones and UC infrastructure
- Support Cisco voice platforms including UCM, Webex Calling (Multi-Tenant and Dedicated Instance), PCCE, Unity, and CER
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, including direct vendor engagement through to close
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing
- Provide after-hours support when project timelines require it, go-lives, weekend cutovers, and post-close installations
What You'll Bring
- Deep, hands-on experience across the Cisco voice product stack, UCM, Webex Calling, PCCE, Unity, CER, and related platforms
- Proven project implementation experience, not just operational support
- Strong IP networking fundamentals (SIP trunking, routing, switching)
- A valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record
- Ability to travel to multiple sites and ramp quickly on an active project queue
- Clear communication skills for vendor management and cross-functional coordination
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment
- Familiarity with emerging UC and collaboration technologies
Compensation: Starting at $40/hour
Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional after-hours and weekend coverage for go-lives and cutovers
Location: 100% onsite, multi-site travel required; corporate vehicle available at times
