Recruiter

4 Corner Resources is looking for a recruiter to join our team. This is a full-cycle role on our internal recruiting staff: you'll source candidates, run phone and Zoom screens, check references, prep resumes for client submission, and build relationships that turn into placements. The role is remote-first with occasional in-person meetings in Orlando or Tampa, so you'll need to be local to Central Florida.

Florida residency required.

Compensation starts at $45,000 plus bonus and commission.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates by phone, Zoom, and in person
• Conduct interviews and assess candidate quality, motivation, and fit
• Build and maintain candidate profiles in the recruiting database
• Check manager-level references and complete pre-employment steps (background checks, drug tests, skill assessments)
• Edit and prepare resumes and candidate write-ups for client submission
• Negotiate terms of employment and manage post-hire communications
• Obtain referrals, set prospective client meetings, and support client needs when account managers are unavailable
• Build lasting relationships with candidates, contractors, and referral sources
• Stay current on local market conditions and attend networking and professional association events

Qualifications

• Located in Central Florida (Orlando or Tampa area) with availability for occasional onsite meetings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport by phone and in person
• Comfort asking direct, sometimes difficult questions
• Punctual, organized, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

• Around one year of recruiting, staffing, sales, or related customer-facing experience
• Interest in building a long-term career in recruiting
