Role Summary:
The  Technology Communications team is responsible for creating and disseminating information to ensure alignment and understanding across the Technology organization. Work includes design support for internal and external messaging, presentations, Web and e-mail-based communications, and marketing activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create compelling and inventive designs and graphics that follow technology branding guidelines and standards
  • Create design collateral such as presentations, e-mail templates, posters, infographics, and illustrations
  • Apply ingenuity, creativity, and organizational skills to evaluate design needs and develop solutions
  • Translate project details and creative direction into unique design and layout solutions
  • Maintain high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity, and timely delivery of all requests
  • Adhere to file management, administrative responsibilities, and time entry requirements
  • Reliably accommodate a work schedule that may include nights/weekends on occasion
  • Collaborate with the Communications team and partners across the Technology organization for content creation and delivery
  • Photography and/or videography for use in electronic communication vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
Basic Qualifications:
  • Advanced skills in visual design, web design, and typography
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Expertise in PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Experience with e-mail marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or similar
  • Experience with online Content Management Systems such as WordPress
  • Proficiency in HTML * Professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Comfortable delivering quality results on compressed timelines
  • Ability to handle work and materials that are confidential and proprietary in nature
  • Ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail * Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong partnering skills and ability to influence, as well as executive presence
  • Experience working successfully with a geographically-distributed team
  • Knowledge of file formats and specifications in preparation for printing versus web
