Position Statement:

The position will manage the company’s cash management function. The position will work with internal and external partners to design and implement optimal bank account structures. The position will also be responsible for development and oversight of sound internal control procedures that protect the company’s cash assets, as well as cash managed on behalf of the client’s third party developers and HOA’s.

Position Summary:

  • Management and oversight of the cash management function
  • Analysis and optimization of bank fees
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure daily accuracy of cash positions and investment decisions
  • Design bank account structures to facilitate efficient and effective flow of funds
  • Provide team member training on cash management operating procedures and application of company policies
  • Support testing and implementation of new treasury system
  • Ensure internal control procedures and SOX standards are consistently applied
  • Oversee internal and external audit initiatives
  • Identify and lead initiatives for operational improvement that results in process efficiency and effectiveness of cash management practices
  • Interface with accounting team to ensure accurate reporting of treasury activities
  • Respond quickly to ad hoc project or other requests from management
  • Serve in a leadership role for coordinating group projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • CTP Certification
  • 5-7 years of treasury experience with 2 years in management
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience in treasury operations
  • Extensive knowledge of banking practices and requirements surrounding electronic banking
  • Solid understanding and application of internal control policies and procedures involving cash assets
  • Experience in working with treasury management systems
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skill acquired through experience in cash management or comparable role
  • Proven personnel management and professional development skill
  • Ability to direct multiple projects and new initiatives
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational and leadership skill
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skill
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and dependable; positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • 7 plus years treasury management
  • 4 plus years management experience
  • Branded timeshare industry experience
