Position Summary:
The Sales Director reports to the President and is a member of the company’s management team. He/she is responsible for directing a team of client managers, and ensuring the company meets its sales objectives through marketing, competitive pricing, and a balance of new business development and existing account penetration. It is expected that the Sales Director will sell with his/her team regularly at the customer’s middle and senior management levels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the hiring and development of 4 Corner Resources’ sales organization
- Lead by example as a respected role model for the organization and culture
- Work with 4CR President to establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs
- Drive the development of new sales strategies
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
- Ensure consistent lead generation
- Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management, and drive accountability at the individual Client Manager level
- Develop pricing policies, including terms and conditions for key accounts
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to ensure client success and satisfaction
Essential Recurring Activity
- Weekly one-on-one with each direct report to include
- Review of weekly meetings (past and current)
- Review pipeline & create strategies for new business development
- Discuss challenges and offer solutions
- Conduct role plays and ongoing training
- Spend at least one day every other week on site with direct reports to currently include
- Travel outside of local market as necessary to meet client demand
Requirements
- 4-year college degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales management
- Ability to plan and manage account acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated strategic selling ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create and sustain a results driven team selling environment
- Capacity to assume more significant responsibilities over time
