Position Summary:

The Sales Director reports to the President and is a member of the company’s management team. He/she is responsible for directing a team of client managers, and ensuring the company meets its sales objectives through marketing, competitive pricing, and a balance of new business development and existing account penetration. It is expected that the Sales Director will sell with his/her team regularly at the customer’s middle and senior management levels.


  • Oversee the hiring and development of 4 Corner Resources’ sales organization
  • Lead by example as a respected role model for the organization and culture
  • Work with 4CR President to establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs
  • Drive the development of new sales strategies
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Ensure consistent lead generation
  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management, and drive accountability at the individual Client Manager level
  • Develop pricing policies, including terms and conditions for key accounts
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to ensure client success and satisfaction

Essential Recurring Activity

  • Weekly one-on-one with each direct report to include
    • Review of weekly meetings (past and current)
    • Review pipeline & create strategies for new business development
    • Discuss challenges and offer solutions
    • Conduct role plays and ongoing training
  • Spend at least one day every other week on site with direct reports to currently include
  • Travel outside of local market as necessary to meet client demand


  • 4-year college degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales management
  • Ability to plan and manage account acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated strategic selling ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create and sustain a results driven team selling environment
  • Capacity to assume more significant responsibilities over time
