The Project Manager role at the client is as unique as it is rewarding because it will allow you to exercise a variety of your project management skills in daily collaboration with very passionate teams. This position is about developing partnerships, organizing work, solving problems, making improvements and delivering outcomes on a variety of business and technology projects using a variety of project management tools.  You’ll be part of an expanding Project Management Office that is dedicated to setting high standards, finding solutions, achieving results and delivering world class customer service to both internal and external clients.

  • Partner with Project Champions to understand objectives and outcomes for corporate initiatives and departmental goals
  • Think creatively to determine the best project management methodology and structure for each project
  • Facilitate robust collaboration with frequent face-to-face interactions with all project members
  • Simultaneously manage 4-6 projects and drive optimum communication for all project stakeholders
  • Apply ‘customer-centric’ thinking to each project to ensure maximum benefit is delivered to all Members
  • Create a project environment with “no surprises” and ensure each identified risk has a mitigation strategy
  • Demonstrate a process improvement mindset and share your ideas for increasing the organization’s overall project management maturity
  • Create raving fans, both internally and externally

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in business, technology or science (with a decent G.P.A)
  • Track record of expanding responsibilities and promotions
  • 5-10 years of project management experience, with 3-5 years of experience in a PMO
  • Experience working on both waterfall and especially agile projects
  • PMP certification is definitely a plus and a working knowledge of lean six sigma basics is helpful
