Summary: 

The Paid Media and Digital Reporting Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management of online display and SEM advertising campaigns. In addition, the Specialist will support the management and maintenance of digital analytics tools, while supplying meaningful reporting across multiple business areas. This person will get to assist in building and refining business-critical reports and analysis to improve insights, enhance data-driven business strategies, and drive optimization. The Specialist will work in collaboration with Paid Media, Digital Analytics and Reporting team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and campaign digital media (Display, Video, Mobile/Tablet, etc.)
  • Campaign management and ongoing optimization
  • Generation of consistent, high-quality digital advertising results based on partners/campaign goals
  • Account Maintenance: Flowchart Creation, Management and Actualization Campaign Pacing & Optimizations Billing
  • Reconciliation Reporting: Pull data, analyze metrics, develop comprehensive analysis and actionable insights from campaign data
  • Create spreadsheets, PowerPoints, and other internal and client-facing deliverables
  • Perform industry research to remain current with industry trends; help media team development by sharing latest digital media advancements and platform/vendor updates
  • Setup reporting dashboards per business requirements
  • Execute ad hoc data analyses in response to business requests
  • Coordinate with Google 360 Technical Support to resolve user issues
  • Assist with administration and support requests
  • Testing various developed web sites for correct code implementation and advising the developers on improvements
  • Coordinating tags and tracking parameter implementations
  • Use and advocate the use of web standards, and all modern web technologies
  • Understand business users needs and translate them to technical requirements for implementation
  • Typical Tasks Manage media campaigns from onset to completion, analyzing determined KPI’s/success metrics
  • Work with 3rd party agencies to implement campaigns, and coordinate website tagging projects
  • Must have strong understanding of Google Analytics and experience with AdWords
  • Prepare reporting decks for key stakeholders
  • Experience writing ad copy and performing a/b testing
  • Utilization of research and analytical tools to properly optimize campaigns
  • Identifying key needs or gaps and provide recommendations to close those gaps
  • Gather analytics requirements from various stakeholders for digital initiatives
  • Design optimal solutions for digital data collection using industry best practices and organization governance philosophies
  • Participate in process improvement to ensure analytics are a part of dev cycles and business delivery
  • Develop strong working relationships with all touch points across the data life-cycle
  • Innovate and refine current data governance structures and best practices
  • Routinely perform data validation with reporting platform

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field (advertising, marketing, communications, etc), or equivalent combination of education plus work experience
  • 3+ years of digital media experience is required
  • Digital marketing or media agency experience is preferred
  • Personal and professional portfolio of past campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Experience with creating and implementing custom scripts/Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics Custom AudiencesSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Digital display and SEM media campaign generation and management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of campaign launch ‘checklist’ – tracking pixels, URL tagging, creative assets collection, and campaign collaboration
  • Campaign pacing and identifying areas for optimization
  • Flowchart creation, management, and actualization
  • Billing reconciliation – verifying vendor invoices and keen budget tracking
  • Presentation skills: contributing slides and/or data to reporting decks for key stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Google Adwords
  • Strong knowledge of Google 360, especially Google Analytics and Data Studio
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong attention to information details, metrics validation, report formatting, and accuracy
