Summary:

Our Digital Marketing Coordinator assists in the management of our digital marketing content within online channels to drive traffic, revenue, and margin, while maximizing profits. They partner with the Marketing team to coordinate production, proofing, scheduling, and delivery of promotional and transactional digital channels. Assess, prioritize, and implement the day to day content updates and/or enhancements to a portfolio of digital products including websites and/or mobile applications. Responsible for consistency with site vision and style guide while developing an understanding of strategies to help keep content fresh and dynamic.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Write and review copy to ensure it is consistent with overall standards and best practices within the digital space
  • Perform content maintenance/enhancement and execute promotional advertising updates for marketing, affiliate, owner websites and mobile applications
  • Traffic items in the queue and oversee the process including coordination, web developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Create, update and maintain web content in content management system and standalone websites including but not limited to working within multiple content management systems (CMS), developing interactive landing pages, developing and/or working with ad agency to develop web creative assets, crafting basic resort copy, manage images in VFM Leonardo to ensure digital assets are updated and optimized for distribution to various online travel agencies (OTAs), monitor (QC) content on live site and troubleshoot or escalate problems as needed
  • Assist business content contributors, as required, with effectively utilizing the content management system
  • Audit web content as needed to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Photoshop editing
  • Represent Digital Production team in business project planning process to ensure applicable impacts are considered and accounted for
  • Perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing on web promotional microsites and system updates and enhancements with primary focus on accuracy, verification, user flows, interface, content and cross-browser compatibility
  • Gather research information /data using multiple systems including SharePoint to support promotional initiatives
  • Share and drive best practice adherence

Education:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Possesses good written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to prioritize work based on knowledge of technical dependencies

Technical Skills:

  • An overall understanding of web design/development methodologies is required
  • Photoshop – basic knowledge a plus
  • Dreamweaver – basic knowledge a plus
  • Internet marketing (layout/composition) – moderate working knowledge is required

Job Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience managing and implementing digital content across a variety of platforms
