Responsibilities:

  • Take artistic direction from the team in the form of hand-drawn sketches, examples from other publications, and collaborative conversations
  • Translate creative direction into polished final assets
  • Design print and digital marketing material, including catalogs
  • Design executive presentations
  • Illustrate academic concepts for training leadership
  • Design UX/UI for internal web applications and learning management system
  • Design, illustrate, and animate motion graphics for internal training
  • Lead and execute design needs in support of internal and external training communications
  • Develop and deliver products in accordance with brand style guide in close accordance with the brand/marketing design guidelines
  • Create templates for materials from presentations, to posters, to digital formats
  • Create and deliver a look and feel for all communications that brings impact and consistency, and promotes the brand vision
  • Produce materials in support of annual conferences and meetings and provide templates for teams producing their own materials
  • Work with stakeholders to understand communication objectives and provide creative ideas and concepts to meet the needs of our business
  • Lead and execute visual storytelling needs, and be nimble to lean in and support creative needs across training as needed
  • Own assigned initiatives by developing ideas to complete fruition, while also contributing to the greater project during creative brainstorming sessions
  • Manage day-to-day production and project list

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in graphic design, preferably specializing in communications, marketing, and/or training
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Innovative thinker when it comes to visual communications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute visual concepts in a highly collaborative environment
  • 8 or more years of experience in graphic design, brand communications, visual communications, journalism/media, creative and/or marketing (combination of in-house and agency preferred) with writing, multimedia content development, presentation design, and leadership support
  • Must be an exceptional designer, storyteller, strategist and collaborator, capable of communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, and MS PowerPoint
  • Photography and videography skills a plus
  • Proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Flexible and agile in the face of changing business needs while delivering against aggressive business goals
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment
