Summary:

This role will be involve implementing advanced tracking, conducting analytics audits and troubleshooting existing configurations using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and to ensure analytics tracking is accurate. Work with the digital marketing team by supporting efforts through design, analysis and testing of new and existing systems. Provide feedback, strategy and recommendations to the media team by analyzing paid media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Technical
    • Implement third-party web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, using JavaScript and HTML coding, including codes for DoubleClick, DART tags, advertiser tracking code and social networks campaigns
    • Directly implement code when possible and manage web production/IT implementation on more sophisticated tracking
    • Proactively monitor the integrity and accuracy of Google Analytics data and work with technical teams to resolve any issues
    • Implement GA tracking configurations through Google Tag Manager
  • Project Planning and Strategy
    • To identify marketing objectives and mapping suitable analytics solutions, ensuring that all required performance data can be reliably tracked and reported; this may involve proposing technical solutions outside of pure analytics
    • To be involved in technical aspects of analytics projects, ensuring an integrated approach from within
    • Design and manage testing strategy; this includes A/B and multivariate testing of assets including copy, product images, forms, navigation and web design
  • Reporting
    • Responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that ensure marketing efforts are effectively driving incremental sales and awareness
    • Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and reports to monitor the performance of our marketing channels, marketing campaigns and website(s)
    • Perform in-depth analysis as requested around KPI’s, visitor performance, campaigns, marketing efforts and cross-channel performance
    • Analyze website data on traffic sources and patterns, booking revenue, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, and additional product selection
    • Utilize Google Analytics to answer business questions, reporting findings to key decision makers

    • Own the vision, strategy and execution for building out a best-in-class marketing analytics and web analytics program

Key Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager a must
  • Knowledge of E-commerce and website delivery and implementation
  • Knowledge in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes
  • Experience in advanced web analytics methodologies, such as experimentation and A/B testing, competitive analysis, surveys, and market research
  • Proven strength in analyzing data to generate insight, action steps, and execute accordingly
  • Strong ability to be proactive to develop and present analysis data to all internal team members
  • Provide recommendations based upon analysis

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Management Information Systems or related field; or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups
  • Successfully developed and implemented new technology
  • Have knowledge and experience with usability and wireframes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and organized project management
  • Knowledge in online practices: Web, PPC, SEO, social media, email campaigns, and eCommerce
