Job Summary:
- Performs the entire lifecycle of managing desktop computer equipment and assist in coordinating planning and efforts of team work activities
- Completes special projects as assigned by supervisor and provides reports as directed
- Fulfillment and management of desktop computer equipment includes ticket processing, asset repository updates, computer imaging, basic hardware/software troubleshooting, software installation, physical deployment/shipping/transport of computer hardware, inventory management, stock receiving/put-away, equipment storage/palletization, equipment location research, and customer communications
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands how to review, prioritize and process end-user requests while escalating any issues to management
- Coordinates and assists in planning of work activities to ensure all priorities are being properly addressed
- Provides reports as requested by management
- Ensures requests for desktop computer equipment are processed in proper priority/timely manner to meet established SLOs
- Images desktop computer equipment to sufficiently meet demand of incoming requests
- Processes and handle incoming/returned desktop computer equipment to determine actions to take regarding disposition
- Cleans and refurbishes incoming/returned desktop computer equipment and properly inventory and store
- Installs software and performs QA activities as needed on desktop computer equipment to ready for deployment
- Physically deploys, moves, removes, pickups, ships, stores, or handles desktop computer equipment in any required manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
- A High School or GED
- An Associate’s Degree in a related field
- Or Graduate from a technical school in information systems or information technology or related field
Work Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or it asset management
- 1+ year of experience in working in Help Desk/Service Desk level 1 or level 2 support roles in Windows operating system/network environments
- 6 months of experience in installing, maintaining, and diagnosing client workstations, services, applications, and printers in Windows operating system and/or network environments
Licenses and Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ (computer service technicians)
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Skills:
- Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills

- Must be able to document work and/or incidents using standard formats
- Must be able to type at least 25 words a minute for data and configuration entry
