Description:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for helping new teams to get set up on our processes and tools, enabling the team to focus on delivery. The IT Project Manager role requires a high level of self-motivation coupled with the ability to teach and assist the team to successfully use our prescribed processes and tools. The IT Project Manager will partner with teams and individuals across the organization and will need to have a passion for their work that drives results to the teams they support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology/engineering field
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools
  • Project Management Certifications (PMP)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Our client seeks team members who are passionate about delivering a quality products and enjoy working closely with business partners on both strategic and tactical challenges.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently as a self-starter, utilize good time management skills, and function well within a diverse team
  • Working knowledge of the project management discipline
  • Proven ability to train and teach new concepts
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Clarity, VersionOne, JIRA, Cardboard as examples)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.)
  • Excellent reporting and presentation building skills with the ability to be analytical and problem solve
  • Understanding of project delivery metrics and results
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrated inclusive mindset that embraces diversity
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and train teams and individuals to use new processes and adapt
  • Familiarity with organizational change management principles to help drive adoption required education
  • Minimum college/undergraduate degree (e.g., B.S. /B.A.) and/or equivalent experience
