Job Summary:
The IT Project Coordinator will help manage, schedule, create the scope of work, and assign resources on a variety of IT projects from inception to completion. This positions goal is to ensure projects are delivered to the organization with a desirable outcome. They should be able to coordinate and effectively communicate project statuses to team members, stakeholders, end users, and executives in a timely and clear fashion.
Job Duties Include:
- Gather, analyze, and manage requirements ensuring they align with stated project goals and objectives
- Gather, document, set, and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve approved project objectives
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitor and summarizes progress of project
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts as they arise
- Conduct project post reviews, measure projections to actuals, and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Ensure stakeholders are satisfied with project results
- Builds and maintains working relationships with vendors and other IT departments
Qualifications:
- Excellent documentation, written and verbal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft tools including, but not limited to Office, Project, Excel and SharePoint
- Preferred experience in technology areas including networking, infrastructure, PC hardware and related items
