Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible to work closely with the Operational teams to monitor the in-house policies and processes thus achieving maximum effectiveness, efficiency and coordination of Quality care. Ensuring our client continuous conformance with appropriate standards and regulations.
Position Overview:
- Liaison between quality management and other functional areas
- Review operational processes for improvements
- Provides subject matter expertise for the development and continuous improvement of quality sponsored initiatives for Medical Assistant/Clinical Area
- Travel to each market for quality review up to 3-4 times per year depending on audit findings
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification
- Excel & Word savvy
- Bachelor’s degree (flexible, only preferred)
- 2-4 years’ health care industry experience, with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a primary care clinical management capacity
- Policies and standard operating procedures documentation and communication
- Utilization of electronic health information systems
- Microsoft Office skills
- PowerPoint – effective use of graphics and text, master slide formatting
- Word – reference and table creation, master formatting, and document structuring
- Excel – tracking, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
- SharePoint preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions
- Compliance and adherence to our client’s standards
- Potential problems in processes and standards
- Customer service at each center
- Additional initiatives or process review as needed
- Provide documentation for feedback from internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Analysis and strategic planning for corrective measures
- Coach and counsel operations team members, Center Managers on Corrective Action Plans during assessment visit
- Follow up on corrective action plan with markets assessed
- Participate in Patient Safety workgroup
- Assist with assigned Patient Safety areas
- Assist with launch of new policies and procedures when needed
- Validate compliance of markets with agreed upon changes from Patient Safety workgroup
- Identifying training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Attend educational workshops provided by company
- SME support for market Operations in Medical Assistant/Clinical departments
- Other duties may be assigned
