Description: 

We are seeking someone who truly enjoys working with passionate people in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position with responsibilities that range from strategic and long range planning and implementation of technology solutions for our clients, to providing one-on-one, and group training and support.

  • Provide leadership and assume management responsibility for the direction, coordination, integration and implementation of technology to a wide array of clients in verticals including retail, hospitality, warehouse, replenishment, etc.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to support new applications being developed as well as the support services for said applications
  • Must manage people, client needs, and data system

Responsibilities: 

  • Initiate, build and maintain excellent working relationships with business leaders, including key senior management and field leaders
  • Partner with business leaders and senior management to develop strategic business plans and roadmaps and supporting information technology plans and roadmaps
  • Develop and manage budgets for specific, client-focused application development, including tracking costs, preparing forecasts, analyzing variances, preparing reports and presentations, etc.
  • Develop or oversee development of program and project plans, milestones, deliverables, timelines, resources and budgets
  • Partner with IT leaders and senior management to deliver integrated solutions to customers within established delivery times
  • Weigh in as necessary on requirements, architecture, security, engineering, infrastructure and other aspects of solution delivery or system maintenance to represent the business objectives and priorities
  • Understand long-term information technology needs for the business unit and participate in the development of an enterprise-wide strategy for systems development and IT acquisition and integration
  • Manage vendor performance and relationships to effectively and efficiently meet business objectives
  • Model leadership behaviors, develop a results-drive environment, and mentor and coach staff as necessary and appropriate

  • Working with leading third-party software solutions (including but not limited to Salesforce.com, SharePoint, SQL and accounting systems)
  • Senior architect of company’s technology infrastructure
  • Leading development of company’s proprietary software systems
  • Advising management on IT infrastructure upgrades and investments
  • Setting policy for managing underling IT infrastructure and data strategy
  • Designing software solutions to improve and automate document-intensive workflow processes
  • Keeping abreast of latest IT offerings and industry best practices
  • Keeping up to date on all maintenance systems, telemetric system, new products, offering more real-time data on component operations, electronic data from OEMs, etc.
  • Coordinating IT roadmap and development activity with business development and fleet services teams

Qualifications:

  • 10 plus years of experience, to include 5 to 7 years management/supervisory experience and proven experience managing IT engineering projects
  • Ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in consulting and comes from a software development or architecture background
  • Languages: VB.Net and C# Sharp
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL server
  • Familiarity with Cloud services is a plus
  • 4 year degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is required
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master’s in Management Information Systems, Database Management Technology, Global Information Management, etc. is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions using Agile and Nimble delivery methodologies
  • Experience working in an IT/project management environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and strategically
  • High level of expertise in customer relationship management design and implementations
  • Technical and comprehensive knowledge of broad business areas
