Job Description:
The Salesforce Administrator will work with users and other stakeholders to define, deliver and support functionality on the Salesforce.com platform. The role will define and deliver hands on configuration, provide data management and investigation & resolve production support issues. The role is also primarily responsible for Administrative tasks including Monitoring and Resolution of Help desk tickets and the provisioning and decommissioning of user accounts. The Admin may also participate in the planning, execution and deployment of future Salesforce projects. This is a cross functional, hands on role with no direct reports.
Essential Job Functions:
- Salesforce.com configuration & production support, troubleshoot user issues
- Manage user permission/profiles/role hierarchies/security
- Provide data updates, analysis, validation, and integrity checks on data and reports, testing
- Create/update/maintain reports, dashboards, and folders with permissions
- Maintain database accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness
- Import/export/manipulate data
- Configure objects/fields
- Manage/build validation rules and workflows
- Business process support, requirements gathering, documenting process flows, maintain process flows
- Modify and scale existing processes to support more users and new business requirements
- Provide day-to-day end-user support and educate users with best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Saleforce
- Project participation – All phases from requirements gathering to UAT and implementation
- Maintain knowledge of all current Salesforce features and releases
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Training Requirements:
- Certified Salesforce Administrator

Technical Skills:
- Experience administering Salesforce.com, or coding in Java or HTML
- SFDC Advanced Administrator certification is a plus
- Ability to read and/or write Apex code is a plus
- Ability to optimize and extend Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications is a plus
- Design advanced reports, dashboards, and business process automation is a plus
- Working knowledge of visual force pages and components is a plus
- Ability to analyze and recommend Salesforce configuration changes in support of enhancement requests
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
- Knowledge of project management practices and tools
Job Experience:
- Two to four years of working with Salesforce.com, reporting and analytics
