Description/Comment:

  • Lead and direct technology solutions through all phases of the project
  • Must be able to manage all efforts required to remain within the bounds of schedule and budget with the ultimate objective of proactively maintaining a high level of user satisfaction throughout the project
  • Demonstrate experience in managing projects of various sizes, complexity and types (e.g., application development, outsources services)
  • Can execute software development methodology and techniques as developed and governed by our internal Project Management office
  • Proactively foster an environment of collaboration among teams and provide day-to-day direction for team resources
  • This includes all aspects of systems implementation from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration and test, through deployment and support of various system applications including developing detailed work plans, assigning responsibilities, organizing inter- and intra-departmental activities, conducting project meetings, providing project tracking details and project analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience managing large projects involving many teams at the same time
  • Experience managing large scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS migrations
  • PMP Certification
  • ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technology experience in the hospitality/travel industry
  • Computer Science degree related engineering discipline or management
  • LEAN Certification
  • Advanced Certification in ITSM or Six Sigma
  • Microsoft Engineer certifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Additional Information:

  • For this particular role, the IT Project Manager (PM) will work with various application teams to ensure they have the appropriate resources and time lines to ensure migration off the current RHEL platform with in the required dates.
  • Monitor Application team project plans
  • Facilitate meetings with application teams and various engineering teams to accomplish goals
  • Facilitate, track and clear any blocking issues
  • Report status to application teams as well as Technology Refresh Project (TRP) Management
  • Escalate to TRP Management any issues that will block the goal of completing the migration on time
