Description:
  • Provide technical solutions to meet specific user needs
  • Elicit, analyze, validate and document business organizational and operational requirements
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the GBTS organization and manage changes to such specifications
  • Communicate business direction to the IT organization (minimum 2 years relevant experience)
  • Understanding of business requirements phase of project
  • Ability to work on requirements gathering phases of project
  • Ability to document and define the processes and procedures as they relate to the overall project objectives
  • Familiar with ITIL best practices for service design
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of various lines of business within the timeshare industry
  • Understanding of mortgage processing, reservation booking and management, and loans and dues accounting practices
  • Effective engagement and collaboration with a diverse set of clients, partners and senior level stakeholders with the ability to articulate their business needs into capabilities
  • Knowledgeable of financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrated understanding of value driven business results and metrics
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years business/systems analyst experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills; strategic thinker
  • Demonstrated strong partnering, negotiating and consensus building skills
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large complex projects or varying project types
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and acceptance criteria in agile projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies including the writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, elicitation, documentation and managing requirements over the software development life cycle
  • Experienced in SCRUM/KANBAN/LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
