Description:
  • Responsible for working closely with customers, technical analysts, and team members to help manage and perform tasks associated with the installation of terminal hardware and peripherals in the POS environment
  • These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards
  • Perform problem identification, escalation and resolution
  • Communicates status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions
  • Assists in coordinating the efforts of supplier teams when needed to develop or sustain the application environment
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience with Point of Sale. A + and Network certification preferred
  • Ability to work on most phases of functional requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Contractors must have flexible work hours – Mon-Sun/ day or night including overnight shifts
Basic Qualifications:
  • Provide onsite POS hardware support and floater support for the Delos 2019
  • Responsible for working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to manage and control the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on distributed computer systems to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability
  • Must be comfortable with answering service calls, organized and can prioritize
  • Window proficiency is a must
  • Must utilize own vehicle in order to move about site(s)
  • Will be servicing POS hardware such as POS system, printer scanner and credit card devices
  • Required to be Microsoft proficient and entering data using computers
  • These solutions must be aligned with business and WDPR Technology strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards
  • Establishes production schedules, ensuring that appropriate jobs, documentation and data files are available
  • Assists in job set-up
  • Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution
