Description:

Reporting to the Director of Compensation, the Compensation Analyst role supports the development, implementation and administration of various compensation programs and processes, including but not limited to base pay administration, market pricing, annual incentive plans, long term incentives and the annual year-end compensation cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on job evaluations, market pricing, salary structures, and job benchmarking
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive compensation information to determine company’s competitive position
  • Strong administrative capability with experience developing processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation communications and transactions
  • Support the team in the design, development and administration of compensation programs, policies, and legislation governing compensation
  • Support the team with the year-end compensation processes including merit and incentives to included testing, training and communications, data audits, and processing
  • Work with the team on various ad hoc projects as needed
  • Provide advice and assistance to HRBPs regarding specific compensation issues and propose solutions and recommendations
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to determination competitive compensation packages for new hires, promotions, transfers, changes, and other compensation actions
  • Collaborate with HRIS and Workforce Analytics to ensure accuracy in HR data systems including compensation, levels, titles, compliance and other compensation related matters

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution or applicable experience
  • Progressive compensation experience or relevant general HR experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel including writing complex formulas and creating graphs
  • Experience with HRIS systems (reporting, maintenance, etc.); Workday experience a plus
  • Ability to develop concise presentations to illustrate and communicate related information
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports and metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, formulate conclusions and present conclusions regarding business issues
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service approach
  • Knowledge of HR laws and acumen
  • Bachelor’s/MA/MBA highly desirable
