Description:

This position supports the HR Operations with various administrative and analytical tasks. This team supports functions such as tuition reimbursement, unemployment claim processing, I-9 processes, background check processing, rehire eligibility reviews, data entry and imaging of personnel documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, audit and review designated process (background, unemployment, tuition reimbursement, rehire, I-9, etc.)
  • Reviewing information submitted
  • Gathering of required documents from various sources as needed
  • Researching submissions
  • Approving requests per guidelines
  • Providing guidance on compliance related questions/concerns/issues
  • Consulting with HR leadership on sensitive issues as needed
  • Reporting out on decisions/results and documenting resolution
  • Processing all required forms into employee personnel file through barcoding and electronic document preparation
  • Conduct field training for HR teams on processes and regulatory compliance
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and trend analysis for designated process
  • Provide backup support for department and additional projects as assigned

  • Must maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to handle multi-tasking with the ability to comprehend complex processes
  • Ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment
  • Must have effective oral and written skills
  • Must be able to communicate policy guidelines, programs, and procedures
  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels

Technical Skills:

  • Must have strong working knowledge of computer systems, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), college degree preferred

Job Experience:

  • 2+ years of HR experience preferred
