Essential Functions:
- Review and execute employee-related changes such as new hire, termination, salary adjustments, promotions and medical (FMLA/LOA)
- Effectively utilize and navigate the ADP database to gather relevant employee data and generate reports
- Lead in the distribution of employee paychecks and bring resolve to any related issues
- Assist in the resolution of any incoming calls, visits or communication from employees
- Assist with internal company investigations in a professional manner
- Effectively maintain employee files and all pertinent information
- Support the processing of training related paperwork (NCTI, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.), create training files, conduct final examinations and distribute certificates
- Lead in the proficient handling of workers compensation cases, including the OSHA log book
- Conduct, collect and analyze exit interview information and new hire 90-day follow up feedback
- Assist in the execution of termination paperwork processing
- Assist employees with employee relations situations and provide information that brings resolve
- Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate other trainings, as needed
- Handle special projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or equivalent HR experience required
- Strong proficiency with computer programs/software such as Microsoft Products and ADP
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to work in fast-paced office environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Must proactively use available resources to bring resolution to assigned tasks, with little direction
- Previous human resources or equivalent work experience, preferred
