Description:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator or Candidate Experience Coordinator (CEC) serves as the key candidate outreach and administrative support professional for the Talent Advisor to which he/she is aligned. Although positioned within TA Operations, the CEC takes daily direction from their respective Talent Advisor to ensure all candidate-facing communication and interactions are positive, informed and engaging. The goal is to achieve best-in-class candidate satisfaction, regardless of hiring outcome. To achieve this goal, the CEC creates capacity for the Talent Advisor to focus on the strategic value-add drivers by overseeing the following critical but tactical areas of work:
- Candidate communications (as directed by the TA)
- Interview scheduling and related communications
- Candidate on-boarding
- Workday data entry and administration (as directed by the TA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop appropriate, well-written and timely candidate communications to ensure candidates are informed about process, current status, next steps, and other pieces of information that are helpful and necessary to make informed decisions
- Partner effectively with Hiring Managers (and/or their delegates), interview panelists, and HR to ensure candidate interviews are scheduled quickly
- Leverage influencing skills to minimize interview rescheduling and other disruptions to the candidate experience
- Manage all related logistics (scheduling conference or interview rooms, accessibility to technology, candidate travel if required, itinerary finalization and distribution, collecting feedback forms, etc.)
- Ensure candidates are dispositioned appropriately and accurately as they move through the recruitment process
- Touch base periodically with candidates to answer questions and keep them engaged (as directed by the TA)
- Ensure a smooth transition into and through the client’s On-Boarding process; This includes setting appropriate expectations regarding process, timing, requirements, interacting with third-party vendors, establishing a Workday account, etc.
- Initiate and oversee the candidate On-Boarding process for their respective business unit(s), including background checks, drug tests, license verification, etc.
- Monitor candidate progress throughout and ensure time requirements/deadlines are met
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met
- In partnership with the Talent Advisor, develop and deploy a Workday data entry and administration strategy ideally suited to meet the working preferences and capacity requirements of the Talent Advisor, including the opening and closing of requisitions
- Partner with TA Operations and HR Operations on subsequent technology releases and the corresponding impact to process, including implications for retraining
- Partner with the Talent Advisor and Strategic Sourcer to schedule on and off-campus hiring events
- Oversee or participate in other related TA Operational work as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Prior experience working in a professional setting
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally
- Basic understanding of Recruiting and HR concepts, policies and procedures
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PP, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited institution
- Prior experience working in an HR/TA-related function
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday a plus)
